You will never have this day again, so make it count.
I am naturally a night owl, however years of conditioning as a personal trainer meant that I was up at the crack of dawn 6 mornings a week, and working around the clock. The hard part was that I loved my late nights and this would pay its toll when the alarm would sound at 5am. There were moments when I would rush out the door breakfast in hand and not really have a proper relaxed start to my day, I was on the run all the time.
This type of routine took its toll on my wellbeing and had a major impact on my productivity. I wasn’t leveraging my time the best I knew how and I wasn’t allowing myself the time I really needed to recharge properly.
By creating a healthy morning routine, I am now set up for my day ahead, with more energy and focus than what I had before, and here’s some of my tips to show you how you too can do the same:
Remember everyday is a new day. Don’t live in the past.
Enjoy the now, it’s your time, make it count x.
