Ever feel like your time is not your own? Or find yourself dancing to a beat, but it’s not your own drum? This is something I am sure we can all relate to at certain stages of our lives. Whether it’s work, family, career, health and the like. At some stage in our lives we can come across a moment in time where we may feel as though our days aren’t bringing about the productivity and lifestyle results we aspire to achieve. Things can get in the way, our energy levels start to diminish, or lack of time can present as a curve ball that can hit us like a tonne of bricks. To top this off we live in a world where productivity has never been so important, yet distraction is everywhere, in every waking hour. So the question is how can we best utilize the time we have to bring about such lifestyle goals and results? And how can we 10X our productivity levels in one simple action without lacking energy and focus yet still get the white space we desire in our days? We live in a world where focus can be more valuable than our intelligence. One of the biggest things that those who are achieving the productivity and lifestyle results they desire have in common is the ability to install systems that release their greatest productivity. For years I have educated my clients on how to live a healthy, happy, balanced lifestyle and one of the greatest skills I have found that has had greatest impact on lifestyle change is the ability to stay focused and take action. In order to 10X your productivity levels and achieve the same results is to focus on how you manage the scheduling of your day-to-day life. However the thought of scheduling our time so precisely can often scare people and bring up fears that can prevent action. Whether it’s overcoming confidence barriers to taking action, fear of success, or failure, or that by taking a closer look they are afraid of how much ‘busy’ they might find... Whatever those thoughts, feelings and fears may be, the truth is our time is of the essence and how we utilize it plays a huge role on our productivity levels and lifestyle results. Whether it’s spending more time with your family, arranging a catch up with a work colleague, friend, or getting your health and fitness in better shape, this all requires time.
How we manage our time and our top key priorities will determine how much time we spend doing what, where, when and how depending upon our life’s purpose and priorities. By scheduling your actions will help cut wasted time and energy, and instead channel your energies into what means the most to you in your life. For example, you might say; "I want to lose a couple of kilo's, and have more energy" If this is the case then what are you doing that is going to move you closer to achieving that goal? Where have you scheduled that in your weekly plans? How are you going to exercise, and what type of exercise do you require? and so on. To 10X your productivity start by identifying, establishing and implementing how you are going to create the time, energy, and space to hit the nail on the head and action such intentions. Not only will you be living with intention, ease and flow, but by taking constant, consistent action in turn will increase your productivity levels and help you in leveraging your time more effectively.
