5 WAYS TO REGAIN YOUR INNER POWER

​You have power; in fact we utilize our inner power each and every day, and in more ways than what you think.
There’s power in the words you speak, there’s power in how you go about your daily ‘to do’s’, and there’s also power in the text messages you 
​send, and the way you hold your physical presence.
As a coach a question I am constantly asked is: How do I sustain my willpower even when I’m tired?
Whether it’s hitting a moment of I cant be bothered, overwhelm from the to do list that feels never ending, eating healthy on the run, getting exercise done on little sleep, or simply feeling tired from work or home life stresses. All of these things play a significant role in sometimes diminishing our inner power.
So how do you up the voltage when you are under such pressures and stress in every day life and harness your inner strength at such times?

We are all human, so don’t get me wrong, there are times where I too need to pull myself in line and check in with myself every once in a while.
In fact it is known that to have great inner power means having the ability to use what you have to accomplish your goals, and developing the skills you need in order to succeed.

Harnessing your power is not just about having more energy, although having energy helps us build momentum and remain focused. It’s about how we utilize such energies from within, and how we go about our day.
Think of it this way; you can be go, go, go yet not necessarily ever get anything done.
Ever felt this way?
This can leave us feeling busy yet unproductive and can potentially hinder the very results in life we truly desire.
So let's get started in harnessing some ways to reclaim your inner power and utilise your energy more effectively, and with these following 5 steps can see you well on your way:
The question isn't can you, it's WILL you?
  1. The power of decision
    It’s time to look deep within…
    Argh I know your thinking, but maybe I’ll just wait till tomorrow to change my diet, or maybe I’ll do that run another day when I’m not so busy….
    Let’s axe those old thoughts because it’s time for you to stop trying to make it happen, and instead start to trust that it will happen when you decide for it too. After all it’s often a series of small daily micro wins that lead us to great results, so the question here is, what decisions will you make today that are in alignment with who you are, and what you stand for, that will move you towards feeling a stronger, fitter, happier, and healthier version of you?
  2. The power of choice
    Whether we are tired, too busy, or can’t be bothered, we all have the power of choice. What we choose to do has huge influence upon the outcomes we achieve in life. After all, we all have a choice, even when sometimes we don’t think we have a choice, we are actually deciding we don’t have a choice which inevitably is a choice lol.
    Know that no matter how tough things can sometimes get that you can still have the power and the ability to choose. 
  3. The power of will
    As much as this is an obvious ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’ kinda thing, it’s also something we need to be reminded of because by trying to attain our goal is only going to happen when we make it a MUST.
    That goal you have, losing that weight, buying that house, living that lifestyle is all the power of will and decision. So have your will, and start creating your way today.
  4. The power of when to walk away
    You’d think that knowing when to walk away from something would be easy but sometimes it can be one of the hardest things we can ever do. Especially if it’s something that may have once served it’s purpose but does no longer.
     
    It’s time to drop those things you are not 100% committed to, because such things can be what’s weighing you down and potentially not in alignment with either who you are, where your going, or where you want to be when it comes to achieving your goals.
    Or simply check in on those things you currently need to be committed to, and let’s be honest here, if it’s an action that keeps on repeating on the ‘not completed’ list, then there’s a fair chance your putting it off for a reason. Figure out that reason, and either outsource it, give it up, or get to work!
  5. The power of action
    So finally it’s time to take action team so:
    Make a list
    Check it twice
    Get to work on all the non-negotiables
    After all, we all have 24 hours in our day right?
    Remember that your time is valuable, as are you!
